How's Poppy Ridge GC in Northern California? Will you give it 5 stars?

I see there are 3 9-hole courses. Which ones do you prefer?

Hi birdieking,
Yes, I played at Poppy Ridge GC quite a few times. You have to be an NCGA member to be able to get the discounted green fee, so if you're not an NCGA member, you'll have to pay extra.

I suggest the Chardonnay and Merlot courses, although Zinfandel is not that bad either, but I don't think that's up to you, unless you're flexible with the time on when the courses will be available for play.

BTW, I noticed your alias is birdieking. I hope you have a lot of birdies at Poppy Ridge, so good luck!

In my case, I'm going for bogey-golf, or maybe just a little better, but no pressure :)

Thanks for the advice, bogeyman.

By NCGA, you meant Northern California Golf Association, right? Unfortunately, I'm not a member if that's the case. Is the difference a lot between an NCGA member and a non-NCGA member?

BTW, I'm a 20+ handicap, so I'm compensating on my alias :) I'm more a doublebogeyking...

Yes, on NCGA.

I did notice they don't ask sometimes. So let's hope you get lucky, but it's basically a coin toss.
